Ana Teixeira was born and lived in São Paulo for 28 years. Professionally, sheworked as an Occupational Therapist in Brazil, Florida, Tennessee, Missouri and more recently in Texas.

Her greatest treasures are her son and husband. She loves to help people around her, and was given the name "Ana Bacana" - which means Cool Ana.

Brazil is a fascinating country, a diversified land with an enchanting mixture of music, art, cullinary, culture and history due to the native south americans, europeans, africans and asiana immigrants.

Handmade products transform different types of materials into artistic objects and decorations. When an artist uses recycled items as their main material, he or she should be vallued not only for the art produced but also for transforming items that would pollute our world into beautiful handmade products.

In Brazil, our artists use creative solutions like recycling left-overs from agricultural and industrial productions. For example, many artists use what is left of the cocunut after the milk and pulp are extracted, also banana tree fibers, seeds and more.

The artist that respects the environment, respects the future of our planet. These Brazilian artists are not alone, they have Ana Brasil's support in their mission of showing the beauty and originality of their work of art by using recycled and natural materials.
